Privacy Policy
Pepti is a personal health and wellness tracking app for logging peptide protocols, weight, nutrition, injuries, and related data. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Pepti collects, how it is stored and used, and your rights regarding that data.
All the information you enter into Pepti — dose logs, weight entries, meals, injuries, reminders, inventory, and progress photos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework and standard local storage. Pepti doesn't operate any servers or require an account, so this data is never uploaded anywhere and stays on your device unless you export it yourself.
Pepti uses Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This is the only third-party service Pepti integrates with.
Mixpanel collects product interaction data — information about how you use the app, such as which features you open, which tabs you navigate to, and actions you take like logging a dose or changing a theme. In some cases these events include contextual details about that action, such as a compound name when you log a dose or a workout type when you log your weight.
This data is not linked to your identity. Pepti doesn't collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information, since there are no user accounts. Mixpanel identifies your device only by an anonymous, randomly generated ID that cannot be used to identify you across other apps or websites.
Pepti does not use analytics data for advertising or tracking. We do not display ads, share your data with advertisers, or use any SDK that combines your data with data from other apps to target advertising. Mixpanel is used solely to evaluate feature usage and guide product improvements.
Pepti allows you to take or select photos for progress tracking. These photos are stored locally in the app's private directory on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared anywhere.
Pepti requests access to your camera and photo library solely to enable progress photo tracking. These permissions are optional — declining them doesn't affect any other part of the app.
Pepti does not sell, rent, or share your dose, weight, injury, or photo data with anyone. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous product interaction analytics described above, sent to Mixpanel.
You can delete any individual entry within the app at any time. To delete everything Pepti has stored, delete the app from your device. To request deletion of analytics data already sent to Mixpanel, contact us at the email below.
Pepti is not intended for use by children under 17.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
